Packed with features taken straight from more expensive Shimano models, such as Super Slow oscillation and a parallel body, the Beastmaster is an excellent long-range casting reel.
Although the Beastmaster is Shimano’s lowest-priced surfcasting reel, it packs a fair amount of advanced technology.
The Super Slow oscillating line setup is still the standard line setup by which other reels are judged and the AR-C sprocket design is exactly the same profile found on the best Shimano long-range reels.
