Arguably the most anticipated launch in Daiwa’s recent history, the 23 Saltiga represents the pinnacle of Daiwa’s technological advancements. To meet the needs of all anglers, the new 4000/5000 and 6000 sizes are now available. This sea fishing-specific reel is the first to benefit from AIRDRIVE DESIGN technology around the main parts of the rotor, basket handle, sprocket and shaft for reduced weight, increased strength, robustness and reliability.

These new features of the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept are obviously based on the MQ monocoque frame, a single symmetrical machined piece that gives the reel greater durability.
