The Speedmaster Tapered Surf Line is a high performance tapered monofilament mainline designed for surf fishing.
Available in three taper options, the thickest part of each option is 0.57mm (16.70kg) to handle the most powerful casts and heaviest weights.
If you have only used thick monofilament for surfcasting, using a tapered mainline like the Speedmaster Tapered Surf Line has the potential to transform your casting performance.
With a strong start to absorb the initial impact of the sinker, the main body of the line is much thinner, reducing friction.
Another advantage over using thick lines, or a thinner main line with a bottom line, is the absence of a knot, which reduces potential problems.
Speedmaster Tapered Surf Line has a super smooth finish, which minimizes friction when passing through the loops, and high abrasion resistance and excellent knot resistance.
