LUNAMIS 26 ROD

Selected from Shimano’s acclaimed JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) line, the Lunamis represents the cutting edge of technology and performance in fishing rod manufacturing.
Designed for long-distance sea bass fishing, the Lunamis ‘26 series features nine carefully tuned models, ensuring that technical specialists, versatile anglers—who use artificial lures—and power-focused professionals alike will find the ideal rod for their needs.
This elite series combines surprising lightness, keen sensitivity, and hidden strength, resulting in a rod that seems to “come to life” in the angler’s hands.
Casts are precise, controlled, and extremely efficient, while working with artificial lures becomes intuitive and accurate.
When fighting a fish, the Lunamis offers all the confidence and authority expected from Shimano’s cutting-edge technologies.
It represents the pinnacle of performance in shore angling, developed for anglers seeking to push their own limits.
The Lunamis ‘26 incorporates Shimano’s latest innovations in rod construction, designed to meet the rigorous standards of the JDM series.
Thanks to the Spiral X Core and Hi-Power X technologies applied to the blank, Lunamis rods offer incredible strength and high torsional rigidity without adding extra weight.
The result is longer, more accurate casts, plus enough power for a solid hookset, even at long distances—ideal for reaching the feeding zones of sea bass on beaches or rocky shoals.
The Carbon Monocoque handle transmits every vibration directly to the angler’s hand, providing immediate feedback on the lure’s action and even the subtlest bites.
Combined with the lightweight CI4+ reel seat, the rod offers perfect balance, ensuring comfort during long fishing trips.
Equipped with Shimano’s advanced X-Guide system, each model is optimized to ensure maximum line flow and reduce friction, guaranteeing smooth, tangle-free casts, even in windy coastal conditions.
Whether you’re working with small minnow-style lures or heavier metal jigs, the Lunamis maintains precise and efficient presentation.
The versatile models feature 25 mm guides to balance line release and counterweight, making them perfectly suited for medium-range artificial lure fishing.
For anglers targeting larger fish in rougher waters, the higher-powered models incorporate titanium guide technology—designed to minimize contact with the line—which optimizes the use of thicker multifilament (PE) lines and provides enhanced durability.
Every element of the Lunamis 26 was designed with one purpose in mind: the combination of lightness, sensitivity, and strength redefines the standard for a modern sea bass fishing rod.
With the new Aero Coat finish and corrosion-resistant components, the Lunamis was developed to withstand the harsh conditions of the marine environment while maintaining its quick response and sturdiness.

From lightweight models, ideal for technical fishing in calm waters, to powerful rods designed for larger lures and rough sea conditions, the Lunamis lineup caters to every sea bass fishing scenario.
Pair it with premium Shimano reels—such as the Exsence, Sustain, or TwinPower XD—and complete your setup using multifilament (PE) lines and fluorocarbon leaders (Ocea FC) to achieve maximum performance.
