Safety Rules

  • Be careful with sharp hooks: they are dangerous and can cause serious injuries if mishandled. Make sure to cover them when transporting baits and avoid leaving them exposed. Tip: use hook stoppers or protective covers to ensure safety while fishing.
  • Secure your bait: ensure the hooks are securely fastened to prevent them from falling loose while fishing. Regularly check for wear and replace the bait if it is damaged or less effective.
  • Handle fish and bait carefully: use tools such as fishing pliers or release devices to avoid direct contact with hooks and the fish's mouth, reducing the risk of injury.
The depth at which we can use the Lures depends on many variables, such as line thickness, trolling speed, length of line in the water and the tuning of the rod. All of these aspects are crucial to the success of the fishing, as we not only want to fish at a depth where the lure does not get stuck on the bottom, but also to move the lure to the depth at which the probe indicates the fish are. A reduced line thickness, a longer line in the water (which can reach 200m) and a higher speed are the main combination of variables that make the lure sink deeper. The tuning of the lure is also crucial, as if it is not tuned, it will not swim straight, making it impossible to fish properly. Usually, almost all Lures come tuned from the factory, but it is always advisable to test and correct if necessary. If the lure swims deviating from its path to the right, we should use pliers to twist the metal rod that comes out of the rod to the left. If the lure swims to the right, we must do just the opposite. This is a delicate operation that must be done with small adjustments each time until
to perfect pitch.
