The Alivio Surf is Shimano’s entry-level surfcasting rod, offering excellent value for money for beginners and casual anglers.
Its practical 3-piece design and XT30 carbon construction provide a fast action.
The Alivio Surf is Shimano’s most affordable surfcasting rod and a great choice if you’re new to surfcasting, a casual angler, or working with a tight budget.
Despite its price, it is a powerful rod capable of handling sinkers up to 225 g, giving you the confidence to cast with power, especially overhead.
For improved bite detection, particularly at night, the tip features a white section to enhance visibility when using a headlamp.
It is equipped with Shimano Hardlite stainless steel anti-tangle guides, corrosion-resistant and suitable for both monofilament and braided lines.
